Routines and Focus
A routine is the few minutes after the alarm. Focus is the same idea at any hour of the day.
Built-in routines
| Routine | Default length | Background track | Wick's line |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yoga | 10 min | Dreamscape | "Breathe in… and out" |
| Reading | 15 min | Cafe jazz | "One page at a time" |
| Meditation | 10 min | Ambient lift | "Let it settle" |
| Workout | 10 min | Funk walk | "Steady does it" |
| Journaling | 5 min | Mountain folk | "Whatever comes to mind" |
Each has its own Wick animation. The length is set per alarm on the duration wheel, 5 to 60 minutes in steps of 5. Only Workout starts with its sound on; the speaker button in the session turns sound on or off for any of them.
Custom routines
Under the built-ins in the editor, Add a custom routine takes a name up to 30 characters: cold plunge, walk the dog, stretch and coffee. You can keep up to five. They start at 10 minutes, use Wick's winking animation and the quiet lo-fi track, and say "Take your time" under the timer.
Swipe a custom routine to delete it, with a six-second undo. Any alarm that used it falls back to yoga for 10 minutes.

Changing the routine quickly
The bond strip on Home shows the next alarm's routine. Tapping that half opens the editor straight at the routines section.
Focus with Wick
The Focus button on Home is a Pomodoro timer: one stretch of work, then a break, with Wick keeping you company. It pays 3 dewdrops for a finished stretch, deliberately less than a morning, and no xp.
- Start focus uses the last settings; 25 minutes of work and a 5-minute break to begin with.
- The Focus wheel runs 5 to 60 minutes in steps of 5; Break runs 1 to 15.
- While you focus: Nothing, or any routine. Wick does the routine with you; your custom ones are marked with a dot.

The session shows FOCUS or BREAK, the ring and Wick, then "One thing at a time" (or the routine's line). The screen stays on while the timer runs. Pause pauses; the X asks "Stop focusing?" and nothing is lost by stopping: the rounds you finished still count.
If notifications are allowed, the phone tells you when the stretch ends ("Focus is done for now") and when the break is over. There is no background sound during Focus. When both the stretch and the break are done: "Nice stretch." with Go again or Done.

A Focus session interrupted by the app being closed picks up where it was for up to six hours.
